ME GUSTA SEGORBE, PERO POR FAVOR A QUIEN CORRESPONDA, DEBERÍAN CERRAR POR RACISMO DEL DUEÑO EL RESTAURANTE EL PALEM, EL CUAL NOS TRATÓ A MI MUJER E HIJA (CHINA), DE FORMA DENIGRANTE, Y ESO QUE HACÍA 3 DÍAS QUE HABÍAMOS REALIZADO LA RESERVA Y EN ESOS MOMENTOS EL RESTAURANTE ESTABA VACÍO, ESPERO QUE LES DEN UN TOQUE DE ATENCIÓN, YA QUE ESTO HA SIDO DENUNCIADO A LA CONSELLERÍA DE TURISMO Y A LA OFICINA DEL CONSUMIDOR. GRACIAS

Gracias a los hallazgos arqueológicos encontrados en El Cerro de Sopeña podemos situar el primer asentamiento humano en torno al 1.550 a.C.. Posteriormente también habitaron íberos y romanos. Tras la Reconquista situaron aquí su castillo-alcazar los reyes de Aragón, Martín I "el Humano" y su esposa María de Luna, y posteriormente los señores y Duques de Segorbe, hasta el s. XVI.
El termino municipal de 108 Km2 se encuentra a 394 m sobre el nivel del mar. Con un clima mediterráneo de inviernos templados y veranos cálidos y secos. El municipio está situado entre las Sierras Calderona y Espadán, en el corazón del Valle del Palancia, rodeado de una fértil vega de frutales y hortalizas.
